income oppertunities... [Aug. 9th, 2005|12:10 am]
Tabitha Fringe Chase
So I got a call today from http://www.bunnyranch.com/, they would love to have me, I’m seriously considering doing a 2 week stint there in mid September say from the 7th to the 23rd… do any of you folks know anyone who has been there, or have any of you been yourselves? It sounds and looks pretty nice, and I’ve always kinda wanted to try working in that area of the business just been to paranoid about the law here in Atlanta….

If you're prepared to take the leap into that kind of employment, I hear no one treates their employees better than the Bunny Ranch guys.

Or so I've.....heard....

Thank you for the concern, let me do my best to answer it, first off no I can’t possibly know weather or not any sexual activity or work for that mater will do me no harm, before I do it, but here is a little bit about my personal history in “the business”…

I’ve worked in the sex industry now for about 7 years, I have personally found it heavily empowering and a way to help myself recover from a violently abusive marriage and several rapes. My problem with having been touched stripping was that it 1 was no consensual and 2 was working way to hard for $10 and 3 it is illegal and I have no interest in going to jail for a job… I worked for quite awhile at what is commonly referred to in Atlanta as a “jack shack” which is in call escorting there is significant physical contact but in Georgia, genital contact is illegal, and because of the nature of the job customers thought that it would lead to that, but I am not willing to lie for money, or again go to jail for a job… I have worked some in porn, and enjoyed it.

Basically I am always interested in new experiences, and I think at least that legal, consent based prostitution is something that I may enjoy, and if I do find it uncomfortable, damaging, or if I simply dislike it I am free to leave at any time. There is also the very real possibility that given a couple of trips there I can save up enough cash to go to massage therapy school, (10K), which is something that I really want to do but cannot afford…

They have a show about it on HBO right now... from what i've seen, the girls that work there love it.. they let their girls come and go... so you could go there.. do it for a few weeks.. leave.. then come back. Good luck with it :)

Good luck with it - I expect at least a short story or two about the experience :-)

I say go for it. If you don't you'll probaly end up kicking yourself in the head for not taking the chance. Who knows when you'll get another oppurtunity like this? You can tell Atlanta laws to kiss your ass, and go for it. You've always followed the beat of your own drummer.
